Avoid. Over priced, poor quality a poor excuse for a restaurant.

Four of us had breakfast there and for a fisherman's hangout the food was good. Not a place to impress a date but for a quick bite, I would go back for breakfast

This place is to over priced for the quality and portions of the food. Everything seems pre made and does not have the fresh taste to it. The service is good. This place is pretty dirty and could use a good scrubbing or remodel. I do not recommend this place.

Com'n folks! You're not at Fisherman's Wharf in SF or Cannery Row in Monterey anymore. This is a real workingman's fishing port! The ol' guy with the limp that stumbled through the front door? (You know - the guy who didn't smell so good?) probably just came off his boat and is in dire need of a cold one. If you prefer the scent of air freshener, perhaps the Sea Basket is not for you. But if you want to "do as the Romans do when you're in Rome", you might just get a kick out of this place. Our food was solid, the portions generous. The waitresses were "down home" friendly and efficient. Pricing was fair. Check out the bar and if you're inclined, talk to one of the guys. "How's the fishing?" or "What's running" are suitable approaches. Try to subdue as much of your "city polish" as you can!

Diners Beware! Be careful what you order. I ordered the Seafood Combo, $14.99 and it was 4 fish sticks and 4 shrimp. When I questioned the waitress, she said I should have ordered the "other" combo. No explanation, no apology. This place SUCKS!

OK, I agree it's a local hole in the wall kinda place, but that's what I like about it. I've only had the fish and chips, which I order to go most of the time. It comes with almost a cup of creamy, delicious cole slaw, Texas toast, 7-8 LARGE pieces of fresh,(this place is in the marina, can't get any fresher that that!) lightly battered, NON-GREASY perfect fish! The fries have this great seasoning on them also no grease. When you ask for extra tarter sauce or ketchup, you really get extra! I can never finish at one sitting, save half for later. This is the small order I'm talking about, can't imagine what you get in the large order. Service is fast and very friendly. My teenage nephew visit's from Chicago and loves this place. This is an eatery where local fisherman and locals in general go for great fish and chips!

Well, this place has changed a lot since the last time that I was there. The place was dirtier than anything I can imagine, and the bathroom was out of paper towels. Also, both my order and my mother's were fouled up and the Pepsi was absolutely disgusting. There was also an illegal credit card surcharge as well!

This is an out-of-the-way place with a lot of local style and good eating. Good place to get fresh seafood, friendly staff, and generous portions. When ordering ask what is fresh that day and you won't be disappointed.

Good lightly breaded and seasoned fish and chips. Weak beer selection though. Definitely a fisherman good 'ol boy atmosphere. But if you can put your big boy panties on you should try the fish and chips.

Worst service and food on the Oregon Coast My husband and I were out for a drive and stopped for lunch. Took 30 minutes to get our order of fish and chips, and a cup of clam chowder. When it finally arrived both the soup and fish were cold. Gave it back to the server to heat up. They apologized. We left after waiting another 15 minutes. $20 lesson learned!

Overpriced and so-so. Very small portion of fish with soggy breading. Fries ok and coleslaw had a funny taste.

We found this place when we were on vacation....it was getting dark and it was the only place that was open in the area. we ordered the cod and chips, a shrimp cocktail, and a cup of chowder. the cod and chips was semi ok, small portions of very thin fish that wasnt that tasty. And then there was the chowder. It was disgusting to say in the least. I took two bites and decided right then and there I wasnt going to eat whatever it was in that bowl....I dug through it, there was nothing but potatoes. no clams whatsoever. it didnt even FAINTLY taste like clams. More like uncooked flour base, with no flavor. I sent the chowder back and just told the waitress to give me a refund on it and put the refund in her tip jar, because she was really nice and attentive. we ate the rest of our food in silence and took a hike....We wont be back.

The fish is amazing! Not greasy and full of flavor. The atmosphere is authentic and refreshing. Nothing fake to this gem on the Oregon coast!
